Community Partnerships

At GLS, we deliver more to our communities than packages. It is important to partner with different organizations to make a difference. We are helping to power the fight against breast cancer as the official transportation provider for the CURE foundation. GLS has also been joining the Make a Wish Foundation for several years as an institutional ambassador. Every year, GLS encourages its employees to take part in fun activities to collect donations for the Foundation.

Employee Programs

We are committed to recognizing our employees for their outstanding work and are always looking for ways to improve our working conditions. To achieve this goal, we have introduced a number of programs to encourage success and allow our employees to maintain a good work-life balance. The yearly Circle of Excellence is one example. We work to continuously improve these programs and create new ones.

Social Involvement

We deliver more than parcels. We also deliver a lot of smiles! This holiday season, our team hit the road with our GLS holiday truck on a mission to warm the hearts of young recipients! We travelled the roads across Ontario and Quebec, delivering more than 150 gifts that lit up many faces! We made some very special stops over the last few weeks, in partnership with La Bouchée Généreuse and Extended Hands Montreal. Learn more about our incentive!

Environmental Protection

Protecting our environment is a guiding principle at GLS and one that is brought to life by employees across the Group. In 2008, GLS launched its ThinkGreen environmental initiative in order to coordinate and proactively foster the diverse array of activities within the GLS Group. Across all GLS national subsidiaries, Environmental Officers ensure the implementation of Group-wide environmental protection measures. The LEED-certified headquarters is also an incentive to position GLS group as a responsible leader in the transportation sector and to share its vision of a smart and sustainable industry.

GLS has a holistic understanding of sustainability that encompasses environmental, social and economic aspects of its corporate responsibility. The aim is to offer customers the highest quality in terms of logistics whilst providing employees with a stable job at a strong company.
